Chicken Stew

A slightly spicy Coriander-based chicken stew.
Ingredients
For the Stew Powder:
Grind to a Paste:
Method
- Lightly roast and grind all the ingredients (except turmeric) for the stew powder.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker and fry the onions until golden brown.
- Add the ground paste and fry well.
- Add the stew powder, tomatoes and salt and fry till the oil separates.
- Add the chicken and fry for about 5 minutes.
- Add 1 cup of water, put the lid on with the whistle and pressure cook for about 5 minutes. Open only once the pressure settles down.

Note: If you find the curry spicy, you could add coconut milk until it suits your taste.
